Chad Byers – Chad is the Founder and Managing Partner of Symmetrical. He has over a decade of experience advising on or investing in over 100 transactions. Chad has represented clients in virtually every type of transaction: strategic third-party sales, recapitalizations, leveraged and management buyouts, strategic acquisitions associated with buy-and-build strategies and real estate transactions. Chad is a board member of and owns equity positions in numerous midsize privately held companies. Chad has dual degree in Finance and Education from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, he is a co-founder and board member of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Alliance of Merger and Acquisition Advisors (AM&AA) and is a Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor (CM&AA).
Gerry Del Real – Gerry is a Vice President at Symmetrical. Prior to working with Symmetrical, Gerry assisted in the management of SilverStream Capital, a private equity firm with over $1.5 billion of AUM in the healthcare services, HCIT, consumer products and business services sectors. Prior to SilverStream Capital, Gerry worked for Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Global Leveraged Finance Group with the responsibility of funding leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations through the issuance of over $15 billion of high yield bonds and leveraged loans. Gerry holds a BS of Finance, with honors, from DePaul University.
Lisa Graham – Lisa is the Marketing Director at Symmetrical. She has over a decade of experience in marketing, communications, PR, event planning, and copywriting. At Symmetrical, she is responsible for writing and designing content for digital and print use, creating and executing Symmetrical’s email newsletters, website updates, and working with industry associations on behalf of the company. Lisa is also the Co-founder and CEO of Graham Media Partners, a Philadelphia-area-based marketing company. Lisa graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and a minor in Public Relations.
Aron Hooks – Aron is a Vice President at Symmetrical. Prior to working with Symmetrical, Aron assisted in the management of SilverStream Capital, a private equity firm with over $1.5 billion of AUM in the healthcare services, HCIT, consumer products and business services sectors. Prior to SilverStream Capital, Aron worked for GLC Advisors, a leading independent investment banking advisory firm providing financial restructuring advisory services, including corporate restructurings, in-court and out-of-court reorganizations, exchange offers and distressed mergers and acquisitions. Aron holds a MSc. in Finance from Villanova University and a BSBA, with honors, from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
Joseph Morris – Joe serves as an Advisor to Symmetrical. He has spent the past 15 years in private equity, corporate finance and mergers & acquisitions. Joe is currently a Principal with Private Capital Research and an Investor in numerous middle market, privately-held businesses. Joe has been involved in a variety of industries including healthcare, building material products, manufacturing, and service related sectors. Joe holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Temple University’s Fox School of Business and a Bachelors of Science in Accounting and Finance from Cabrini College.
Raj Sheth – Raj is a Senior Associate at Symmetrical. Prior to working with Symmetrical, Raj was in the Investment Banking Division at PwC Corporate Finance focusing on middle market M&A. He has participated in transactions totaling over $750 million across various sectors including industrials, consumer markets, healthcare, and business services. Prior to PwC Corporate Finance, Raj was on the Corporate Banking team at PNC Financial Services where he worked on recapitalizations through the issuance of over $10 billion of debt facilities for private equity, middle market, and large corporate transactions. Raj received a B.S. in Finance and Economics, with honors, from DePaul University.
Steven Silverman – Steven is an Operating Partner at Symmetrical. He is Managing Director and Founder at KingsPoint Capital, LLC. At KingsPoint, Steven assists clients throughout the business life cycle – from raising growth capital, to assisting with add-on acquisitions, to the ultimate sale of the business. He has worked on deals ranging from $5 million to $500 million, Steven’s 25 years of experience in corporate finance and middle market investment banking, and extensive relationships with institutional investors, delivers results across all industries. Steven holds a Bachelors degree from The University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the University of Houston.
Justin Teich – Justin is a Partner at Symmetrical Advisory, focusing on sell-side M&A activities. He is has deep industry experience in healthcare, life sciences, manufacturing, distribution, and business services. He has completed transactions through management buyouts, leveraged recapitalizations with private equity firms and other financial sponsors, as well as strategic buyer acquisitions. Justin holds a B.S. in Natural Science and Mathematics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, he is a board member of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Alliance of Merger and Acquisition Advisors (AM&AA) and is a Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor (CM&AA).
Andrew Williams – As a Merger & Acquisition and Exit Planning Professional with 20+ years leadership experience in Manufacturing and Distribution Organizations, Andrew brings a broad level of business experience to Symmetrical Advisory. After beginning his career with a West Michigan Tier I automotive supplier, he then spent a decade as Founder and COO of a family owned home furnishings manufacturer. As a former family business co-owner, his clients appreciate the unique perspective Andrew brings to helping Business owners and leaders execute their unique transaction goals. Andrew is an Honors graduate of Michigan State University’s Engineering College and holds Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor (CM&AA) and Certified Exit Planner designations.
